GTA 6 leaked gameplay footage roasted, and we can see why

Now we’re in 2025 we can finally say ‘GTA VI is coming this year.’ Of course, that just means the hype train is going faster than ever and the rumours, news, and potential leaks will grow.

Case in point, the GTA VI subreddit has had a reupload of a leak from some time ago showing Lucia standing outside a warehouse, and fans think it’s the most pointless leak, so far.

While the three links posted to Reddit have since been removed, the fans responses are still there and are anything but celebratory.

“That’s the most underwhelming leak ever,” said bluAstrid.

The leak originally came from an employee inside of Rockstar Games, as it showed photos of a programmer or artists desks and setup.

The leak is seen as completely pointless by some, who comment, “Even if this is real, it’s truly so inconsequential and minuscule that it’s difficult to see much value in it.”

“We got janitor GTA6 leaks before GTA6,” comments Ajxtt.

Among the images was a collection of blurry stills of the game running on a monitor surrounded by console dev kits, which look distinctly different to retail versions of the consoles.

This brought more comments than the actual image of Lucia.

“One blurry screenshot. CRYSTAL CLEAR shot of the dev kit serial. Perfection,” joked TemptedTemplar.

“The devkits look more interesting to me than what's on the screen, tbh,” said another Redditor.

We’re now at the point where even the most die-hard fans aren’t interested in recycled leaks and ‘content.’

Fingers crossed it doesn’t take long for Rockstar Games to usher out a new trailer, hopefully, with some gameplay, so that the buzz around the game can have basis in actual footage and facts.
