Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was a special game with an incredible multiplayer we'll never forget. Infinity Ward provided us with some of the finest Call Of Duty maps, weapons, and gameplay the series had ever seen, but it was ultimately the players that to ensured the 2009 shooter's place in the history books.

Ten years ago today, the internet's most legendary Call Of Duty killcam was captured and shared around the world. To this day, it serves as a testament to the unpredictably, chaos, and sheer elation that Modern Warfare 2 provided. I'm referring, of course, to C8Swap's iconic High Rise trick shot in which he manages to nail an enemy in the head with a knife after lobbing himself off a skyscraper to win the game 17-29.

If you've never seen it, I'd urge you to watch it below. If you have seen it? Watch it again, obviously. It never gets old.

The internet is awash with reaction videos and trick shots these days, but C8Swap's miraculous kill is that rarest of beasts: it's genuine. Everything about the original video is a flawless reminder of the time: the Skype jingle in the background, the awful quality of the sound, the joyful shrieks coming from our hero as he realises what he's done and calls for his mum to "get the camera".

"Oh, oh my God, oh, my f**k**g Gawd, Mum get the camera, mom, mommy, mommy, oh my Gaawwddd." It still makes me laugh every damn time.

Is his reaction extreme? Yeah. Was it absolutely and 100% justified? Absolutely. I've seen a lot of Call Of Duty killcams in the decade since this one was uploaded, and I can say with some confidence that none of them have ever quite hit the same as C8Swap's keen eye and sharp knife. This truly was peak Call Of Duty, and I love everything about it.
